As seen in Ultimate LoFi Gameboy, Gb Amp is a faithful recreation of WinAmp on the Nintendo Game Boy. It can play up to 255 songs and has the ability to skip a track, go to previous, adjust volume and shuffle the playlist. On Gb Color it will show the upcoming songs in the playlist too (DMG can’t handle that so playlist is just blank.) The visualizer actually reacts to the notes played in the hUGEDriver songs of your choice.

This template is totally free, no licenses, my gift to the awesome Gb Studio community.

  • Full instruction manual including steps for integrating into an existing project and feed it data about your song for the visualizer.
  • Works on DMG or Color
  • Works with Gbt Player (however visualizer won’t work).
  • Includes button-controlled version as well as point-and-click style.

Songs included from Beatscribe packs are also free to be used with purchase of this template.

Ha! Amazing Christmas gift, just a full month earlier – thank you!

Playing around in the browser version… point & click allowed me to slide the volume control a bit too far to the left…
